Garth Brooks performed a record-breaking headlining set on Sunday (March 18) at RodeoHouston.
The country legend played to 75,577 people, breaking the attendance record from the previous Sunday during Go Tejano Day by just 12 concertgoers.
Brooks was the closing performer at 2018 RodeoHouston, but he was also the opening act. His performance last month was the first time he'd played the mega rodeo since 1993, and he broke in the stadium's new star-shaped rotating stage — the first stage upgrade to Houston's rodeo in 31 years. The country icon told the crowd on Sunday that he made a handshake deal that he'd love to come back for the 100th anniversary of RodeoHouston ... if he can still walk.
